ELLUCIAN CLOUD SERVICES

Please be advised that the Ellucian eTranscripts Send Configuration update regarding TLS version 1.2 support will be deployed in the Test environment. After this, institutions can enable TLSv1.2 to establish connectivity from their end to the cloud application and vice-versa. This notification details the maintenance timeline and planned work.

Note: This release addresses CR-000143773 and CR-000156682.

Window: 12/14/2018 @ 2:00 AM to 12/14/2018 @ 5:00 AM Eastern

Activity: Enable TLSv1.2 support for eTranscripts Send 1.3 application in Test environment.

Impact: The test environment will not be available during the update.

Dependencies: None

Client Action: Enable TLSv1.2 on your eTranscripts API server (cloud to ERP connectivity) and TLSv1.2 on ERP side (ERP to Cloud connectivity for Order Status update) in order to support TLSv1.2 connectivity. Finally test your connectivity by placing a test Order from your vendor site to cloud application https://etranscriptstest.elluciancloud.com/

Vendor Action: Verify the connectivity works from your site and cloud test application https://etranscriptstest.elluciancloud.com/ by placing sample order request.

Verify: The Cloud Services team and Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) will be carefully monitoring all activity during and after maintenance is completed to confirm all services are operating correctly.
